Description

Did you know that about 1% some say even 2% of the world’s population suffers from excessive sweating? It can be really uncomfortable, especially when your prosthetist dispenses a new prosthetic liner and you find yourself sweating buckets into your prosthesis. Amputees that use a prosthesis with either a prosthetic liner or sleeve are more prone to hyperhidrosis for a number of reasons ranging from higher energy expenditure to covering the body’s “radiator,” the skin. Alps Antiperspirant Spray with twice the Aluminum Chlorohydrate found in typical consumer brands can help reduce your sweating and eliminate odors. Alps Antiperspirant spray is packaged in an easy to use, travel size 4 ounce pump spray bottle.

Alps Antiperspirant spray is safe for use with:

  • Gel liners (thermoplastic) – Easyliner, Extreme, EZ Flex, Full Suction, General Purpose, Liberty II, Proximal Seal Interface, and Thermoliner
  • Silicone liners – Clearpro and Clear Gen

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Spray Alps Antiperspirant onto the your residual limb and any areas covered by a prosthetic liner, ie, your thigh. You must allow Alps Antiperspirant  Dry before putting on your prosthetic socks or liner.

PRECAUTIONS

Do not apply to broken skin. If a rash develops, discontinue use. Use only as directed.
